“Science Fun at CSUN” Party

When:  May 31^st from 1pm – 4pm

Where:  Cal State Northridge

Hosted by:  Dr. Cindy Malone

Description of party:  Spend the afternoon in Professor Malone’s Laboratory at Cal State Northridge performing Cell and Molecular Genetics research with Dr. Malone and CSUN student researchers.  You will see real cancer cells growing in culture, perform recombinant DNA manipulation from genetically modified bacteria, and isolate genomic DNA from strawberries as a take home souvenir of your day.  You will also have the opportunity to tour our science facilities and visit real college biology classes in session. 

 **Students must provide their own transportation and a school permission slip is required to be filled out for students leaving school.
