Mr. Wilchek moved to the D.C. area in 1969 to study guitar at American University. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from American University and a Master's Degree from the Peabody Conservatory, both in performance on classical guitar. He has ben teaching guitar full-time in the Springbrook area for the last 25 years. He teaches all styles to students of any level and any age. He also teaches at teh Washington Conservatory in BEthesda, where the fee for a one hour lesson is $88. This lesson is offered at his home studio in the Hillandale neighborhood of Silver Spring.
