Welcome to Next Level Sailing also known as Dennis Conner’s America’s Cup Experience — located in San Diego, California. If you have been looking for the Real San Diego Boat Racing Experience, you’ve come to the right place. This is a unique opportunity for individuals and groups to race on the most recent generation America’s Cup yachts. Yacht “AMERICA,” Stars & Stripes and Abracadabra are available year round to the public and for corporate or private San Diego sailing charters.

In 2003, long-time San Diego Yacht Club member, Troy Sears and his business partners purchased two International America’s Cup Class (IACC) racing yachts from legendary America’s Cup Skipper, Dennis Conner.

The two competition-tested yachts, Stars & Stripes / USA 34, and Abracadabra / USA 54, were moved from America’s Cup Harbor to the Broadway Pier, under the flag of a new sailing venture, Next Level Sailing.

Next Level Sailing gained prominence as the only venue in the Western Hemisphere where the general public could experience the thrill of hands-on sailing aboard real IACC racing yachts.

In 2006, Next Level Sailing acquired the historic, 139-foot yacht AMERICA, and added her to the fleet. More recently, to reflect Dennis Conner’s active involvement in the business, Next Level Sailing has changed its name to “Dennis Conner’s America’s Cup Experience.”

Whether you are an individual, family or small group, our 2.5 hour San Diego sailboat races give you the real sailing experience upon Dennis Conner’s America’s Cup racing yachts — no other sailing experience even comes close!

If you are a local corporate group, or visiting for conventions and meetings we can provide the ultimate group experiences for up to 114 guests. Even larger groups to 300 can be accommodated using a combination of other local yachts and our own vessels.

The idea of racing not your thing? You can pitch in and feel like part of the crew or just relax and take in these magnificent 80 foot, high-tech racing machines as you cruise effortlessly throughout the sheltered waters of beautiful San Diego Bay. A San Diego harbor cruise is very memorable on a yacht like this.

Our sailboats or America Cup yachts are the most recent generation vessels…called IACC (International America’s Cup Class). This class of yacht started in 1992. Our 2000 model yacht is certainly one of the prettiest America’s Cup yachts, painted by legendary marine artist ‘Wyland’. His Whales, Dolphins & Marlin adorn the entire yacht. Our ‘Stars & Stripes’ vessel was raced by famous skipper Dennis Conner and is the most recognized name in America’s Cup racing. Not only is this a great treat for you…. but the bragging rights back home are ‘second to none’.

The Dennis Conner America’s Cup experience is now permanently at the “Maritime Museum of San Diego” which means that entry to the museum is now included FREE for all ‘public’ guests sailing with us.
