Discovery Science Center is filled with fun, hands-on exhibits for kids and those who are kids at heart. Feel the warmth of a real Boeing rocket engine "launch", explore the inner workings of a two-story tall Argentinosaurus, test your best slap shot against the Anaheim Duck's goalie and lie on a bed of 3,500 nails.

DSC has also recently opened its newest permanent exhibit: Eco Challenge. Master the skills of a green super hero in the Discovery Market by learning to become an eco-friendly shopper, reveal the importance of identifying and properly disposing household hazardous waste in the Eco Garage and learn how to be wise bout sorting trash to maximize resources in the Race to Recycle activity.

Birch Aquarium at Scripps

Birch Aquarium at Scripps brings to life the exciting discoveries of world-renowed Scripps Institute of Oceanography. Visitors can view a colorful variety of Pacific marine life in more than 60 habitats, and explore hands-on exhibits that showcase the mysteries of ocean, land, and life. Dynamic seasonal programs are offered for all ages in a variety of topics and indoor/outdoor settings.
