Del Mar Junior Lifeguards
The DMJG Program is designed to accommodate all levels of participation from first time junior guards to seasoned veterans. Anyone ages 7 - 17 with basic swimming abilities and the passion for learning and having fun is eligible to participate. First aid and CPR is taught, team-building exercises are routine and lifeguard rescue techniques are practiced daily. Participants have the opportunity to compete in lifeguard competitions, specialized rescue trainings and are exposed to once in a lifetime opportunities. The program itself is physically demanding, subjecting each participant to an immense amount of beach and water related activities emphasizing physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, environmental awareness, respect for the ocean and most importantly - FUN!

Special Instructions
Must reserve slot as early as possible as session availability may become limited; participation of proposed candidate is subject to successful completion of swim test for each program.
Participant mus be 9 years old before the last day of session participating in.
Must pass a swim test to participate. Must wear the mandatory uniform daily. Certificat must be included with registration form in 2012.
In event of cancelling space in program, NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED>
Certificate holder must register before May 30, 2012.
Certificate expires June 1, 2012.
No cash value or credit given if 4 week session is less than $500.
