Dark Moon Rising: Limited Edition Print by Miles O'Bryan

Item Number: 348
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
This print is part of a collection of limited editions I have recently completed. Each edition is limited to 15 + 2 (that is fifteen of the prints will be signed and numbered by me, plus two artist's proofs (which will be held in my personal collection and not offered to the public). This print is number 7 and will be next to my name as “7/15”. And the date will be noted as “2012”. This the prevailing standard art dating, that is the date denotes the date the “print was produced” not the date the original art was produced. This can be confusing to some people unfamiliar with this convention as some of the prints include a signature/date that were on the original work of art.
Special Instructions
The price for original art work, from which these prints are made range from $450 to $1,000+. However, the retail price for a single limited edition/signed and numbered print is only $45.00. I have always tried to have some of my work at very affordable prices so they are available to a larger audience who may not have the luxury to purchasing more expensive originals.
This print was printed on a six-color printer for excellent color subtleties and details. The print is 10" x 8" with a narrow white border. The prints are attached to acid free "presentation" papers as an added barrier to low-quality framing materials often used for less expensive art. All prints are coated with a UV filter fixative. As you know all works on paper are subject to deterioration over time both in intensity of the colors and the condition of the paper. This coating is a little bit like "sun block" for paintings and will keep them in good condition for an extended period of time.
I have been actively exhibiting my work to the public since 1986 in galleries and other venues throughout the United States and my work is found in numerous collections throughout the US and Western Europe and Latin America. – Miles O’Bryan, San Francisco/Mountain View.
