Description
This is a framed photograph titled "Home" by Joanne Arnold. It measures approximately 16" x 22" framed in a black metal frame.
Artist Information
Joanne Arnold graduated from Maine College of Art in 1979 with a B.F.A in Painting. Her brief career in illustration and graphic design garnered her four Broderson Awards. Working presently with her pocket camera, she explores her world as a daily practice and rarely misses a dawn. She encounters the world with wonder and curiosity and finds the experience to be ecstatic.
Joanne works as a Body, Mind & Sport Strength Trainer and Consultant. Her interest is in integrating a spiritual sensibility into a training program. She believes we all work too much and need to remember the lost art of play. Joanne operates on the belief that body and mind are inseparable...and often need relationship work. She believes consciousness is the competitive edge and awareness our most powerful tool for transformation. Her interest lies in disenfranchising the stress and recover modality of conventional training and supporting a program to create a body cell by cell, thought by thought.
She is currently a student at The Chaplaincy Institute of Maine, honoring her interest in Chaplaincy of the Body.
