Favorite outdoor pastimes, like kayaking, canoing or sailing to her favorite coastal island, are woven into stories. Sporting Images of fly-fishing, Nordic skiing, hiking, bird and duck hunting are captured from experiences with her husband. Yet wandering in a lupine field portrays moments of peacefulness. She is now expanding in oil painting as well as pastel media. Her paintings also include her adventure trips to the Amazon River, Alaska, and Newfoundland. Her aspiration is "to pass on those inspiring moments to you."
Marcia won 3rd place in a regional Minature Painting Exhibit at Westbrook Gallery in December, 2007.
