Andrea Sawyer paints the effects of light transformed by the Atlantic Ocean on waterfront buildings & white ironstone diner mugs. Her intimate small oils & larger-format streetscapes speak of a human presence - a there & then or here & now that is timeless and trendless.

For many years I've split my time between Southern Maine & Provincetown MA; I cannot live – or paint - where I can't smell salt in the air.
