Once again, Tri for a Cure sold out in record time - and you missed out on the opportunity to participate in this all women's sprint triathlon to benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 8:00am. You are in luck, the Maine Cancer Foundation has generously donated an entry to the CCC's 10th Annual Online Auction!
About the event:
Founded in 2008 by Julie Marchese and Abby Bliss, the Tri for a Cure has become the largest triathlon in the state of Maine, providing a gorgeous race course alone the shores of Cape Elizabeth and South Portland. This event consists of a USAT-sanctioned 1/3 mile swim, a 15 mile bike ride and a 3.1 mile run. Click here to see a course map.
Special Instructions
Winning bidder is still responsible for raising the minimum $350 to support the Maine Cancer Foundation required of all athletes by July 18, 2013. The Cancer Community Center is a grant recipient of the Maine Cancer Foundation. Winning bidder will be given contact information at the end of the auction to complete their registration.
