VENUS BERNARDO is a Los Angeles based photographer specializing in fine art, art-style documentary (including events) and people photography. Her work surpasses normal distinction. She expresses her appreciation of having been inspired by the masters including Henri-Cartier Bressan, Ruth Bernhard and Gordon Parks. Her photography career began in journalism in 1995. Later she made her way through the ranks of experienced red-carpet photographers, shooting celebrities and Hollywood-type special events. Her most famous photograph, which continues to be published worldwide is that of famed-rapper Notorious BIG and Sean "P-Diddy " Combs, taken 5 minutes before BIG was killed in Los Angeles. She had a role as the photographer (playing herself) in famed rapper Nas' video "Got Ur Self", where the night of killing was re-enacted. In 2007 she became a WireImage photographer. She has been published in Architectural Digest, Newsweek, Vibe, Essence magazines as well as other print and television media worldwide. While she continues to shoot special events, documentary and portraits, she has turned her eye towards fine art as a primary passion.

  • Maximum of one certificate redeemable per family per year (okay to transfer as gift).

  • Winner must contact Ms. Bernardo by Dec. 31, 2012 and complete photography by Dec. 31, 2013.

  • ”No show” to any scheduled appointment or session invalidates this certificate.

  • Less than 72 hour cancellation prior to any appointment constitutes a “no show”.

  • Location, date & time to be mutually agreed upon by the photographer and winner

  • Bidders must be at least 18 years old.

  • All purchased items must be paid for.

  • All sales are final - no refunds.

  • All items are sold "as is" without warranties of any kind.

  • Items purchased may not be resold.

  • Inclusion of items in the auction does not imply endorsement by Omega Educational Foundation.

  • Please note any special limitations, terms or expiration dates prior to bidding. All items must be used by their expiration date.

  • Lost tickets, certificates or letters will not be replaced.

  • Purchased Items not picked up in person at the Black Tie Gala will incur shipping and handling costs.

  • Certain items may require sales tax.

  • Omega Educational Foundation may correct typographical errors and make changes or corrections in listings, including to the opening bid and the item description.

  • Omega Educational Foundational may update these rules at any time and a bidder's continued participation will constitute acceptance.
