      Description
Dahn Yoga is a mind-body practice that combines the ancient wisdom of Ki energy training with modern techniques to maximize the brain's functioning. Includes book, The Call of Sedona - Journey of the Heart by Ilchi Lee.
It is rooted in the rich history of an ancient Asian mind-body practice, Sun Do, and in the wisdom of the Chun Bu Kyung, a 9000 year old text teaching truths about and through Ki energy. From a modern perspective, Sun Do could be considered a way of healthful living that used types of yoga, tai chi, meditation, and martial arts for training the body and mind. Dahn Yoga incorporates many elements of those practices.
Created by Ilchi Lee in 1980, Dahn Yoga as we know it today has something for everyone. The various exercises and workshops offered fit into a comprehensive program called Brain Education System Training.
The purpose of the practice is to develop the human body and brain to realize their ultimate potential. Dahn Yoga is based on a universal philosophy and affirm any religious path or object of worship. It is an experiential system of attaining truth through body and mind awareness.
Develop strength, flexibility, proper breathing, and energy sensitivity with our daily yoga classes.
Our classes vary throughout the week for a more dynamic practice experience. Each class will help you shift your focus from outside to within yourself. Through our signature breathing postures, you will gather energy in your core, leaving you feeling strong, calm, and fresh.
Classes are offered 2-5 times a day at most centers and last approximately one hour.
If possible, plan to attend 2-3 times per week for the best results. Please visit your local center's home page for an up-to-date schedule.
