Description
Signed, framed black-and-white 11" x 14" original digital photograph by Karen Tweedy-Holmes. "Europa." a World Champion show horse (see additional photo) is featured in Tweedy-Holmes' upcoming book about U.S. equine sanctuaries (Rizzoli Publications, March 2013). He is currently available for adoption at Lucky Horse Equine Rescue. Framed photo up for bid is printed on archival paper using pigment inks. Matted on 100% rag museum board and ready to hang. Note: mat board does not have the discoloration that appears in this photo.

Karen Tweedy-Holmes is a horse-obsessed freelance photographer based in NY City. Her work is largely devoted to portraiture of human beings and wild and domestic animals. She was the 2008 Grand Prize winner of the Eric Hoffer Book Award and a Silver Medal of the 2008 Independent Publisher Book Awards (Animal Category). We thank her for her donation and for choosing to include Lucky Horse Equine Rescue in her upcoming book.
