Recycled Horseshoes Garden Sculpture

Item Number: 135
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Handcrafted and donated by New England artisan, Wild Bill Stevens. We will bet the farm that no one else in your neighborhood has a garden sculpture like this one!
Bill's been secretly collecting used horseshoes from the barn's Lucky Horse farrier. Back in his workshop, he revs up his creativity and turns those castoff shoes into spectacular pieces of original, recycled, sculpture art.
Here, eight shoes are transformed into a blossom and petals on a sturdy stem. Position it as a focal point in your garden or plant climbing seedlings underneath and watch them wind their way up. Then sit back and enjoy tracking how the glint of the sun sparkles off the natural patina that this sculpture will develop over time. 57" tall.
See (and bid on!) more of Bill's pieces on this Lucky Horse Equine Rescue Auction site. Each is a Lucky Horse Equine Rescue Online Auction Exclusive!
And be sure to watch Bill's and his wife Cindy's patient progress as they train Pippen and Forest, our LHER rescued mini horses, for future jobs as therapy horses! They are frequently featured on our Facebook page and even have their own blog: Mini Power
