Item Number: 246
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Treat your horse to a 2-hour massage by Susan Bartfay, Certified Equine Massage Therapist, of Blue Ribbon Massage.
Your horse may need a massage if he or she:
- Has had dental problems
- Has had poor or improper saddle or bridle fit.
- Has had a recent fall, injury, surgery, or trauma.
- Flinches or arches his back with pressure to his spine.
- Is refusing, hesitating, or switching leads.
- Is hanging a leg over jumps or jumping flat.
- Is resisting bending or extension.
- Is carrying his head too high or too low.
- Is shaking or throwing his head.
- Is complaining when saddled or bridled.
- Is holding his tail to one side.
Massage gets results! Clients say their horses move smoother, faster, and are more balanced. A badly fitting saddle can put tremendous pressure on your horse’s back and create soreness throughout his body. This will compromise his health and soundness if left unaddressed.
Massage can be a valuable and effective therapy to relieve tension, restore circulation, alleviate residual soreness, and increase range of motion once your saddle is properly fitted. A session begins with information about your horse, followed by a brief visual exam, and then one hour and 15 minutes of a variety of confident, intuitive strokes that will enhance skin condition and overall circulation, relieve muscle tension and spasms, increase muscle tone, and stimulate greater range of motion.
Note: You are bidding on a 2-hr. massage session for your horse. Travel up to 1.5 hours from Franklin County MA area (near Shelburne Falls, MA) is included. Travel time/mileage may be charged beyond that distance and is not included in your high bid. Expires September 1, 2012
