Description
Artist Wayan Rendah sculpted this laughing Buddha from suar wood. The Suar Tree, also called Monkeypod Tree, is a fast-growing hardwood of the tropics.
Polished to a sheen, this jocular Buddha represents prosperity, happiness, and longevity. The Balinese believe that rubbing his belly will bring good luck and good fortune!
This Buddha statuette measures 9.1" H x 8.3" W x 7.9" D.
