Rim Rock’s Dogwood Cabins offer rustic cabin lodging with considerable modern comforts, surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois.

In between exploring spectacular rock formations, hiking, mountain biking, fishing and/or bird watching you can enjoy full amenities in your "home away from home."

All cabins have air conditioning and heat; kitchen including stove, frig, microwave, coffee maker, toaster; bathroom with shower; screened in porch; electric fireplace; satellite tv and DVD; all linens, cookware, plates, utensil, outside grill and picnic table. We provide wood for the fire ring, DVDs, and games.

The cabin inside walls are either cedar or pine and each cabin is decorated in a pleasing cabin style using the name of the cabin as the theme. Everything you need is in the cabins except food and we do provide coffee and popcorn.

We have 5 cabins of all sizes and something for everyone. Eagle's Retreat and Coyote Hollow have wifi.

Your cabin stay is close to Rim Rock and Pounds Hollow hiking area, near Garden of the Gods featuring world famous "Camel Rock", Cave in Rock State Park, Kentucky Amish County and much more. 

The gift certificate entitles bearer to $260 towards any size cabin at Rim Rock's Dogwood Cabins in the Shawnee National Forest near Garden of the Gods, (Coffee and popcorn included.)
