Description

Spend a day in a one-on-one tutorial with Elise Kyllo, North House Folk School instructor, visual artist and felting expert. Elise has taught a variety of courses utilizing her skill with felting – creating items that are practical (such as mittens and purses), artistic (felt sculpture) and whimsical (wooly birds and critters). Elise finds working with wool to be endlessly intriguing, inspired by her artistry as a painter and printmaker. Check out her new North House course offering this fall, "Wooly Critters: Introduction to Felting." Elise says, "I can't think of a more meditative, pure and organic medium than working with wool and water and reusing old socks." The winning bidder will have a chance to use old socks and other wool fragments for unique creations with Elise’s guidance.

Special Instructions

The winning bidder will be provided contact information for Elise Kyllo and will be required to make arrangements directly with her. The deadline to redeem this item is October 1, 2013.
