Options are available for beginner to advanced riders. Our guides carry basic tools and repair items as well as a complete first aid kit. Even so, you and your bike must be working order. For our tours, you must own a "bike shop" quality bicycle in good operating condition. Some terrain can be very rough and poorly maintained bicycles are likely to break or cause accidents. Before joining a Superior North Outdoor Center bicycling adventure, have your bike checked and tuned by a reputable bike shop. If you arrive early, we can arrange for a maintenance check several days before your tour. Of course, we also require that all riders wear helmets. Specialized mountain bikes and a host of other gear are also available for rental. These items are discounted for using during our tours and adventures.

Superior North Outdoor Center is owned and operated by Mark and Melinda Spinler. The Spinlers started Superior North Outdoor Center in 1985 because they wanted to share their love of the outdoors, and especially bicycling, with the residents and visitors to this great place.
