Description

This bronze statue measures 20"x19" and weighs approx. 30 lbs.

Regular size Indian bronze statue is the size that Remington originally sculpted this piece in. It also has more detail than the other sizes making it the most popular size. The piece has great movement and detail. Remington was one of the first artists to depict a galloping horse with all of its legs folded underneath as he showed with the Cheyenne. The Cheyenne portrays a warrior galloping into battle on a horse in natural flight in mid stride.

Frederic Remington (October 4, 1861 - December 26. 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor, and writer who specialized in depictions of the Old American West, specifically concentrating on the last quarter of the 19th century American West and images of cowboys, American Indians, and the U. S. Cavalry. (Wikipedia)
