About the Artist
Born in 1942 Dublin, Ireland, painter Sevitt Francis has travelled all over the world, from Australia to the Canary Islands and England, moving from one life experience to another. In 1959 the young artist found her home in Isreal and graduated from the world famous Avni Institute Of Fine Arts in Tel Aviv.
During the seventies, Francis studied at the famed Avni Institute in Tel-Aviv and the School for Art Teachers in Ramat-Hasharon. Her studies were concluded at the Isreal Artist's Association in 1981.
Francis is an expert in the use of color, and while rich, they are muted to convey a passion and sensuality that few artists can achieve.
