Description
A Jacks Box, based on the work of Joseph Cornell. PinCushion (A Personal History of Maine), 13.5" x 15" x 4.5" (hanging) constructed of wood, cloth, metal, glass and plastic. Includes Jack Kennedy's 7th book of poetry, "MATCHBOX (Collected Poems, 1998-2010) published by Maine Authors Cooperative in Rockland in 2011; and "1969-1998", published by WorkWright in Vermont 11 years ago. Both books are 6" x 9" paperbacks. The books and box share a similar artistic methods, based on the theories of the Russian Formalists in the early 1900's
Donated by Jacks Boxes. Open Fridays - Mondays, 2pm to 7pm and by appointment. Original Maine Flea Market Art (some antiques & collectibles also).

All items and gift certificates may be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce office on One Park Drive in Rockland. Gift certificates will be mailed to the winners at no charge. If the winner is unable to pick up an item, it will be shipped to them and they will be responsible for all shipping and handling fees, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped and billed at standard industry rates.
