2 hour+ private art lesson for a child age 6-12, in her Portsmouth studio

As an avid and longtime observer of nature, Tess Feltes applied a life-long avocation to professionally illustrating and painting the natural world.  She studied scientific illustration at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, and then collaborated with botanists, entomologists and researchers on numerous books and journals.  Her work has appeared on book covers, in popular magazines such as CRICKET, and in galleries and exhibits.  For the last 12 years, she has combined her knowledge of nature and her skill as a painter with her love of teaching young children.  Tess has offered Nature Drawing and Studio Art Classes, nurturing her students’ wonder, appreciation and delight in nature.
