Jeannie Brett has always lived near the ocean, from Hingham, Massachusetts, to various ports in New Hampshire and Maine.  Her love of the ocean, animals and nature is reflected in an extensive number of published children’s book she has illustrated and written

Jeannie attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Minneapolis College of Art Design.  She has worked as a designer and commercial illustrator for advertising agencies and educational publishers as well as creating various commissioned artwork.  Jeannie also enjoys visiting New England schools to share her enthusiasm for illustrating (and animals and nature and books!) with school children.
