This is a rare opportunity to obtain the artwork that appeared in a children’s book by Maine artist and author Jeannie Brett.  Jeannie has always lived near the ocean and her love of the ocean, animals and nature is demonstrated in this piece in which crabs, fish and a seagull do what they do!

 

Jeannie attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Minneapolis College of Art Design.  She has worked as a designer and commercial illustrator for advertising agencies and educational publishers as well as creating various commissioned artwork.  Jeannie also enjoys visiting New England schools to share her enthusiasm for illustrating (and animals and nature and books!) with school children.
