Runner's Alley has become a hub of running activity in the area, helping to found the Coastal Athletic Association, and instrumental in initiating the Runner's Alley/Redhook 5K to benefit Northeast Passage. The store also sponsors and is the meeting place for weekly runs, as well as hosting scheduled speakers, and keeps applications on hand for races throughout the greater New England area.
