Description

The baskets are all from Kenya and made out of natural materials.  The wider material is grass and the brown edge wrapping is banana leaves.  The large basket and the one small one is made from a reed like material that is split into thinner weavable strips.  These baskets are typically used to carry produce.

The small bowls are soapstone from the Kisii area of Kenya and handpainted and etched by local artisans.
