Description
Kwaian, a little Paiute boy patiently holds his dance staff while waiting for his dance to start. Indian dance steps are sometimes difficult but he's been practicing and he's anxious to dance. Like all Native American children he has learned to dance early in life. There are dances for almost every occasion… to bring rain, good crops, celebrate the seasons and many more. Religious and ceremonial dances are a family tradition handed down from one generation to the next.
