THE FRIENDS OF LAS VEGAS METROPOLITAN POLICE FOUNDATION is offering a ONE-OF-A-KIND experience that will take you BEHIND THE SCENES with the Las Vegas Metro Police as they work to keep our valley safe.
Come fly with the pilots and crime fighters with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department AIR UNIT. These Metro officers keep the blades in the air and provide eagle eye information to officers on the ground searching for criminals on the run. Your AIR UNIT Experience with LVMPD will include a visit to the Metro Air Unit hangar to see the birds used by LVMPD for various assignments. And you can strap in for a Ride-Along in the sky as the Air Unit ascends to help catch criminals. Schedule your meeting with the team for up to 3 hours, on your agreed upon day.

Special Instructions
- Day of visit must be agreed upon by winning bidder and LVMPD.
- Must be 18yrs of age or older
- Certificate valid until January 31, 2013.
- Winning bidder and ride-along colleague MUST agree to a brief Background Review by LVMPD before setting their date for the Air Unit ride along.
- Valid for TWO people in one party - however depending on the Heat Index, the pair may be required to Fly SEPARATELY, in back-to-back ride alongs.
