The RISE Education Resource Center offers a Homeschooling 101 (8) week series which is designed for new/interested homeschoolers:

• Week 4: Learning Styles (with guest speaker)


• Week 5: Scheduling (with guest speaker: menu planning/once a month cooking)


• Week 6: Testing and Evaluations


• Week 7: Teaching Tips


• Week 8: Organizing Your Home (with guest speaker)

RISE Education Resource Center supports educational choice. We offer parents and students information to make an informed decision about their educational journey.  We then offer support in the form of classes and activities for both students and parents. For example, parent’s who decide to home school are often scared and feeling overwhelmed. For them we offer in-depth 8 week class called Homeschooling 101. For students who are learning from a home environment, such as homeschooling or doing a distance education charter school, RISE offers supplemental classes such as math, hands on science, German, art and more. In addition, RISE offers field trips, family activities and more, to compliment and encourage all families, regardless of the educational path they’ve chosen.
