Description
A pair of tickets to see Filter, part of the Hard Rock Hotel Soundwaves Summer Concert Series, Saturday, Aug. 11 at 9 p.m.
There's no better way to enjoy a concert than at Paradise Beach. Live bands, warm weather, good friends, and cool drinks add up to a great way to start the weekend.
Former Nine Inch Nail guitarist Richard Patrick and his band, Filter, rock the stage at SOUNDWAVES poolside summer concert series on Saturday, Aug. 11.
In 1993, Richard Patrick and Brian Liesegang, both early touring members of Nine Inch Nails, met and began to record under the name Filter. Filter’s debut album, Short Bus, was a huge success and went platinum thanks to the one of the singles it’s most known for, “Hey Man, Nice Shot.” Eventually, Liesegang left the band, but Patrick kept the name and band going. Since the release of Short Bus, Filter has created six additional albums. This popular 90s band made a comeback in 2008 and is still recording songs. Filter has a unique way of fusing hard and industrial rock music with influences like Nine Inch Nails, The Damning Well, U2, The Cure and more.
