Description

Take you pick of dates throughout the year for an introduction to meditation course at the New York Shambhala Meditation Center. Attendance is in-person.

Meditation in Everyday Life is a five-week class that teaches mindfulness meditation and shows how the practice can immediately improve daily life in the most practical sense. Experience what happens when you stop avoiding yourself and the present moment and practice simply being here now with whatever’s going on in your life. Learn to cultivate courage and stability in working with the complexities of daily life: work, responsibilities, and relationships, desires, concerns and uncertainties.

This is the first class in the Way of Shambhala curriculum. It offers a glimpse of the Shambhala vision of an enlightened society created through mindfulness-awareness meditation and how the sanity of this practice can expand to benefit the world around us.

The successful bidder will be registered for any Meditation in Everyday Life couse offering happening at the New York City Shambhala Meditation Center during 2013. Dates TBA.
