Probably antique - both are 6 inches in diameter and gold trimmed.

First  plate is marked with "Louise" and "Bavaria".   Symbol is flowers with J  and C on each side.   Scalloped edge.

Second plate is marked with the company symbol and "hand painted"   "Nippon"
