This set of 8 placemats are photos laminated with a long caption on the back of each written by Alexander. The series, called Truth In Eating, are scenes from Alexander's homestead in Petrolia, California. The sets were a collaboration between Alexander and mixed media artist and oil painter, Anna Amezcua who worked for CounterPunch in 2003. CounterPunch offered these as a premium item to donors. Only 2 sets left! (digital images are not available as the laminated photos cannot be re-photographed due to the high-gloss nature of the laminating material- these are all beautiful images photographed by Alexander using his Leica camera).
