It's no surprise that when Maialino opened in the Gramercy Park Hotel a couple of years ago, it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. In the spirit of a Roman trattoria, it offers utterly delicious takes on classic menu items (linguine with clams or, if you're a little hungrier, a whole roasted suckling pig) and has a remarkably warm, lively, and welcoming vibe. Since the beginning, the only bad part has been trying to get a reservation. Luckily, Danny Meyer is offering our winner his "house table" for the evening.
