Description

We think this may be the coolest hot beverage jug ever designed. And we just noticed that New Magazine does too, because in January it was featured in their "Best Bets" section as the coffee server to own.

Erik Magnussen's designs are exhibited in museums throughout the world and he has received the Lunning Prize in 1967 and the Furniture Prize in 1977. In 1983 he was chosen "designer of the year" by the Danish Design Council and his products have several times received the ID-prize by the Danish Society of Industrial Design.

In 1997 Erik Magnussen was awarded "The Red Dot" in the "Design Innovations 1997" competition held by Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen and he won the "Good Design Gold Prize" awarded by Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.

His award-winning vacuum jug, with its unique, patented rocker stopper, is one of Stelton's all-time bestsellers. Designed in 1977, the vacuum jug has evolved into a design classic with a broad palette of colors to match any home decor. In fact, over the past few years it has turned into something of a fashion icon, setting the trend with new colors every spring and autumn.
