Bradford Teasdale, LMT, founder and director of Medicine Hands Massage is a lifelong student of health and the human body. He completed his first Ayurvedic Yoga Massage training in 2001 and is a leading practitioner of this system in the United States. He continued his studies at the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy and Acupuncture in NYC, where he received a strong education in the Western health sciences. In 2006 Brad embarked upon a practical education in herbal medicine, studying first hand with Native American and Peruvian healers. His signature treatments feature massage with handcrafted oils made from the medicinal plants of North America.

In addition to his private clientele, Brad works with organizations such as the American Ballet Theater, Sacred Space and the Great Jones Spa. He is the co-founder of the Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Guild, a group dedicated to the teaching of its namesake art. Brad is a student of Northern Eagle Claw Kung Fu, and is honored to study under Grandmaster Leung Shum. He divides his time between NYC, and the Hudson Valley hamlet of Garrison where he also creates fine art from concrete and glass.
