Celebrate the Joy of Music with us as we begin a landmark year in our history: the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the Cape Ann Symphony Orchestra. As one of the finest regional orchestras in the country, there is much to celebrate. This year’s program spreads the joy of music as never before, starting in September with great orchestral dance pieces from Brahms, Khachaturian and Stravinsky. The Holiday Pops is a sparkling celebration of holiday favorites, featuring soprano Kristen Watson and the Cape Ann Symphony Singers. The mighty Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 4 is scheduled for March, and we end the season in May with the Brahms Symphony No. 4. But that is not all. A number of special events are being planned, including a 60th Anniversary Summer Pops Concert in July.
