By decreasing the ability of a muscle to contract, Dr. Neufeld of Thomas Eye Group can decrease the appearance of wrinkles in the overlying skin. The types of wrinkles that BOTOX® decreases are the wrinkles that appear when patients smile, laugh or frown. BOTOX® is a temporary treatment that lasts for approximately three to six months. Wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyes and on the sides of the eyes (commonly known as crow's feet), are the most commonly treated areas. Dr. Neufeld can apply BOTOX® to specific muscles of the face to achieve each patient’s specific desires.
