Description

Imagine a private labyrinth walk on the ancient stones of Chartres, France, marked by thousands of glistening candles, the cascading evening light through exquisite stained glass windows, all held in the breath-taking harmonies of live medieval musicians.

Our winner will embark on an unforgettable adventure: The Veriditas Cycle One Pilgrimage to Chartres, France - Walking a Sacred Path: The Archetype of the Labyrinth, May 6 - May 10, 2013.

This soulful pilgrimage will be facilitated by labyrinth extraordinaire, Lauren Artress, whose book Walking a Sacred Path began the modern labyrinth renaissance. Our winner will spend four days in the enchanting medieval town of Chartres, France as we explore the mystery and wonder of the labyrinth in one of the world's most celebrated cathedrals.

On pilgrimage, our winner will experience one private, after-hours labyrinth walk and one public walk in Chartres Cathedral. Most programs include morning seminars, small group discussions, an opening reception, a closing dinner, a tour of the crypt, a tour of the cathedral, and leisure hours spent in the enchanting Medieval village that surrounds the magnificent Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres.

Don't miss out on this truly life-changing and rare opportunity!

"The force behind myths, fairy-tales, parables and soulful travel stories reveals the myriad ways the sacred breaks through the resistance and shines forth into our world. Pilgrimage holds out the promise of personal contact with that sacred force.

What is sacred is what is worthy of our reverence...what evokes awe and wonder in the human heart, and what, when contemplated, transforms us utterly." - Phil Cousineau, The Art Of Pilgrimage: The Seeker's Guide To Making Travel Sacred
