Together is from the artist Florence Alfano McEwin's Tanabata Series. It is produced as one of a kind monotypes, hand pulled and embellished with chine collé. Inspired by the Japanese Folk Tale of Tanabata, when two stars come together once a year and wishes come true. The character images are altered and manipulated from Japanese film. Framed size for the image is 13" x 10" in enameled white wood.

Florence Alfano McEwin is a Professor of Art and an award-winning artist of both print and paint mediums. Currently, her prints are on view in the international exhibition, Nordart 2012, Budelsdorf Germany.
