Description
This is a one of a kind functional art piece wrought iron chair inlaid with fine mosaic pieces by renowned local artist Robin Russell. The chair was especially designed for ILM's 15th Anniversary and celebrates the beauty, diversity, practicality and wonderful music ILM has brought to our area. The colorful centerpiece seat consists of broken china pieces with Hector, the singing cat tenor inlaid toward the center, surrounded by delightful colored mosaic pieces. The edges of the mosaic chair seat include china pieces embossed with musical instruments. This unique art form provides comfortable sitting besides being an interesting conversation piece. Although unique, the chair complements any decor and taste adding sophistication and whimsicality to its surroundings.
