Description
This piece of stone measures 9 3/4" wide x 7 1/2" high. It is one of an extensive series of ancient Egyptian styled works of art Gary has recently created by etching slabs of stone in the same way one typically carves glass via sandblasting. All of his works are adapted from temple wall carvings personally photographed during trips to Egypt.
Gary chose this piece specifically for Inner Light because of the human figure accompanied by the Ankh, a symbol of Life and Rebirth.
