A removable cross tube fastens to the hull just in front of the cockpit - supporting the outriggers, lee board and mast. All metal components are sectional marine grade aluminum. Our fully battened sail can be ordered in a variety of sizes & colors. You need to have a rudder on your kayak or we can install them on certain models. Rudders are not included in the BSD sail rig. They are expedition quality & designed to fit in to or on top of the deck of your boat while not in use and will not affect paddling when stowed.
