This auction is for a Common Horse Sense Course at Willow Ridge Therapeutic Riding Facility in Plain City.
The winning bidder will receive a certificate valid for 4 sessions of the facility's on-ground safety course. This course is designed for children and teaches the student how to conduct himself or herself safely around a horse. This course is divided into four one-hour sessions. Sessions include:
- Safety in approaching, leading and grooming your horse
- Basic horse health and management
- Alternative exercise methods for your horse
- Proper tacking procedures
Our mission here at Willow Ridge is to improve the quality of life for youth who are developmentally disabled or emotionally at-risk with equine assisted therapy.
Special Instructions
For the winning bidder: Upon the conclusion of the auction, the credit card you used to register for bidding will be charged for the winning bid amount. Item will be available for pick-up during normal business hours at the United Way office, located at 232 N. Main Street in Marysville, Ohio. The winning bidder may choose to have the item shipped via U.S. Mail by indicating so via e-mail upon conclusion of the auction. The cost of shipping will be added to the credit card charge.
