Jack Woodson created "Farewell Appearance" in concert with Bing & Grondahl of Denmark: the famed porcelain studio which designed the intricate, pierced rim border.  Bing & Grondahl of Denmark are highly regarded by plate collectors everywhere.


About the Artist: The noted American painter Jack Woodson has created works for the Smithsonian Institution, National Geographic, the Maritime Museum and was commissioned to create the official paintings for presidents Reagan and Mitterrand on the 200th anniversary of the American victory at Yorktown.  His works are on display in museums and private collections across the USA and abroad.


 

Special Instructions

Diameter of Plate: 8 1/2 inches with gold rim.


Plate in impeccable condition.  Has hand numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed for the Bing & Grondahl company, the Buffalo Bill Historical Center and for the United States Historical Society. 


Accompanying brochure has some folds and a piece of tape on it but is fully legible and original.  Comes with original box from Bing and Grondahl Company - box is old and a bit beat up but original.
