This 1950 edition of a classic based on the earlier books Telling on the Trout and Secrets of the Salmon, with new material, has a dust jacket that is slightly worn, but is otherwise in good condition.  The book includes fascinating black and white photos that illustrate how a trout or salmon sees a fly, fly line or an angler, and includes a copy of an article by A.J. McClane from the July 1971 issue of Field & Stream on Salmon Fishing. A really neat addition to the avid angler’s library, and a slice of angling history to be enjoyed with one’s favorite beverage on a stormy winter’s evening.
