Mel Krieger was a renowned fly casting instructor, teaching clinics all over the world. A pillar in the fly-fishing community, he was considered one of the foremost and innovative instructors. He was a NCCFFF Hall of Fly Fishing Fame inductee and originated the very successful Federation of Fly Fishers Fly Casting Instructor Certification Program and the FFF Guide's Assn. He wrote the Essence of Flycasting and produced four DVDs on fly casting and fly fishing which have been translated into several languages.
