*GlenLyon Estate Syrah Port 2009 
Every grape for the GlenLyon Estate Syrah Port comes from the vines at GlenLyon.  After you open the tall, slim, sleek, sexy silk-screened 375ml black bottle, you'll notice the aromas of fortified Syrah complimented by wonderful flavors of blackberry and blueberry jam.  This is dessert at its best!  
Food Pairing:  This port is great with any dessert that has a milk chocolate component. 

*GlennLyon Hog Wilde Chardonnay 2010
The wine, very much in the style of the French Chardonnays of Grand Cru Chablis, is allowed to undergo 100% ML (the conversion of the wine’s acid from malic acid to lactic acid) to maximize a creamy mouth feel. We keep the wine in the barrel and on the lees (the spent yeast and settled solids) for almost 9 months before racking.  It is a Chardonnay where the fruit is allowed to shine through; it is mouth-watering, crisp, acid-balanced, and most-often reveals a hint of lemon-zest and grapefruit.
Food Pairing: Terrific with a fish or lightly seasoned chicken entrée.  If served with a salad avoid strong vinegar dressings. 

Glenn Lyon is a Somoma Based Winery that is owned and operated by Squire and Suzy Fridell.  Squire is a retied actor and was Ronald McDonald and the Toyota Guy.   The wine is phenomenal.
