There are dark amethysts and light amethysts, and the amethysts in this bracelet are the latter.  They are wonderfully transparent with a definite true purple colour. Five of these faceted nuggets make up this amethyst bracelet along with a pretty artist's lampwork bead, Bali sterling silver, and a second strand consisting of an oval sterling chain from the Thai Karen Hill Tribes.  The chain has beaded star charms and one special 'pendant' charm made of a bezel-set faceted amethyst.
